THLN just learned that Sen. Chris Harris has withdrawn his name from SB 1742 -

the horse slaughter bill. We think Sen. Craig Estes will try to re-introduce

the bill.

 

The time has passed for introducing bills and there will have to be a special

waiver by the Senate which we think is nothing much more than a formality.

Nonetheless, if everybody contacts Sen. Estes and asks him not to re-introduce

the bill, it might head it off and finally kill the bill. His contact
