Guest guest
At Randy's request, I am widely posting his below email in which he asked animal advocates to remain vigilant and not give up on the fight to defeat horse slaughter. This federal ruling was a single victory and the warn is not yet won. Thanks to all. Margaret Randy Turner Mar 29, 2007 9:35 AM 'Margaret Morin' RE: Yesterday a federal court shut down all horse slaughtering plants Margaret, we can’t let up on our efforts to defeat the horse slaughtering bill (HB 2476) in Texas. All the USDA has to do is “follow the federal procedures for setting up the inspection fee program†and the slaughtering plants will be back in business. Also, the court ruling was from a district court, not an appeals court as reported by the newspaper, and the ruling will most certainly be appealed. Randy Randall E.
