SHAC's marching in London & we are staging an educational demonstration in Dallas to bring an end to the heinously cruel and pointless practice of animals being tortured & killed in laboratories. See details on both below. M

IN DALLAS ----

JOIN THE MARCH OF DIMES EDUCATIONAL DEMONSTRATION & LEAFLETING -Dallas, Texas

WHEN: Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 8 AM to 11 AM (or any part you can attend).

WHY: MOD spends about $30 million annually on cruel, repetitive and irrelevant animal experiments that have not produced benefits to babies and mothers. Meanwhile, the U.S. sinks lower and lower in world rankings for premature births, birth defects, newborn and infant mortality, and maternal mortality – shamefully near the bottom of industrialized nations. We are asking MOD to redirect this wasteful and inhumane funding to human-based research and programs proven to improve the health of babies and mothers.

WHERE: Norbuck Park at White Rock Lake. The map address is 2000 N. Buckner Blvd., Dallas, 75218.

IN LONDON ----

MARCH AGAINST THE MONEY MENFRIDAY 27TH APRIL 2007 (that's next Friday)MEET 10.45AM FINSBURY SQUARE, LONDONnearest tube stations are Liverpool Street and MoorgateSee www.shac.netWe will be marching in the City of London and there will be speeches including Mel Broughton from SPEAK and Heather Nicholson from SHAC. This is the heart of Britain's financial world and this is where the decision makers are. Come and show them that investing in animal cruelty is bad for business. We will then split into 3 teams. Team 1 stays in London, Team 2 goes to HLS customers in Berkshire and Team 3 goes to HLS. This is World Week for Laboratory Animals and we need to stand united in our fight against their torture and murder. Please be there and be prepared to make some noise. The animals inside HLS and inside every lab across the world need action and they need it now. Every person counts on this demo. It's going to be an amazing day and a chance to show that despite injunctions and lies in the press we will not be silenced. We will stand up and shout at the tops of our voices until the suffering ends and that is a promise. As it says on the SHAC website it's not about us, it's about them.Get in touch and let us know you are coming, and also if you can offer or need lifts.Hope we see you there on Friday!Love and liberation,Everyone at SHAC x
