I tried to send this message with Pam Bertsch’s photos from the

event, but I guess the attachment file was too big for . So I’ll

just say thanks to everyone who helped plan, prepare for, and carry out our

educational demo last Saturday. We had the opportunity to get good information

into walkers’ hands (and on their windshields!), and to talk with many of

them about the disconnect between animal experiments and babies’ health.

 

We even developed a rapport of sorts with the DPD detail at the walk,

and had no confrontations with the usually abrasive MOD event leaders.

Altogether a positive experience with positive results, thanks to our dedicated

campaigners.

 

Now let’s get psyched for the Heart Walk this fall. I’ll

let everyone know as soon as the date is announced. The Heart Walk was a

terrific event last year, and I hope we can make it even better this year.
