Guest guest
Hi, Is there a list of animal sanctuaries in TX? I have a small child and would love to take a trip to visit and support them. I know there are many around here, but I also hear that some of them might be just a road side zoo posing as a sanctuaries. Acctually would you have a list of both so I can even tell people and friends which to support and which not? Julie and Margaret, maybe it would be cool to put together a lists like that available on the vnod website. :-) Thanks Barbara www.veggiechild.com http://pets.DFWTurtleandTortoiseClub/
Guest guest
Hello! I actually volunteer for the International Exotic Feline Sanctuary in Boyd, Tx. It is one of the best facilities I have ever seen. The cats there are loved and taken care of. They are the only Sanctuary in Texas (maybe in the nation as well) that is AZA accredited. The website is www.bigcat.org So if you live close, this is a good one! On 4/28/07, Barbara < urbanveggie wrote: Hi, Is there a list of animal sanctuaries in TX? Guest guest
Hello! My daughter Atheena, who's 8, and I volunteered for a year at an exotic cat sanctuary in Wylie. It's called Insync Exotics and is run solely with the well being of the cats in mind. They're better taken care of than most people! www.insyncexotics.com They're open to the public on weekends and they're run solely on donations, which they can always use more. ~Augustine~ Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Check out new cars at Autos.
