Guest guest
In less than three months of not being able to try as hard as we would have liked (because of full-time, and then some, jobs), Vegetarian Network of Dallas has grown to more than 100 members. In that time, VegNod has staged regular and successful outreach opportunities, both social and community minded. We leaflet at colleges, table at events, enjoy monthly pot-lucks and lunches, and we have launched our " take a carnivore to lunch " outreach campaign. There are many vegetarians and vegetarians " to be " in the DFW Metroplex. We want to reach out to them and make them aware that joining Vegetarian Network of Dallas is an important way to support ethics, compassion, health, and the environment. If you would like to be a more active participant in VegNod, contact us and let's talk about what you would like to do. Also, we hope to see you at this Sunday's lunch at Veggie Garden. Thank you to everyone for her or his support of our continued efforts. We are truly " Stronger Together. Guest guest
Moderator's Note: VegNod usually replies to such an individual comment privately (see below), but I am publishing as many seem to like the fact that VegNod exists, which is great. There is no time like the present to get involved. Watch the VegNod calendar for events. Also, everyone should feel free to participate in Bulletin Board discussions. Please see our home page for posting guidelines. Margaret ****************************************** I really like that there are like-minded individuals whom share my views. I'm just sorry I haven't got to attend more events! I'm going to try and get more involved this summer! It's important for me to meet fellow vegetarians/vegans! Thanks for all you do for animals!
