Guest guest
Dear Friend,I just took action online to oppose H.R. 1398 and S. 807, legislation which would exempt industrialized factory farms from basic environmental requirements.Huge factory farms already do more than their share of polluting the environment, not to mention the terrible animal suffering agribusiness practices cause. Now they want an exemption to get them out of modest reporting and clean-up requirements designed to protect public health and the environment. Please join me by asking your senators and representative to oppose H.R. 1398 and S. 807, and to protect the public's right to know about the waste generated from factory farms. It will only take a minute. For those that don't get it, here's a simple test: If you wouldn't do it to your cat or dog, then don't do it to another animal."
