Guest guest
According to a Franklin, Texas, resident who contacted PETA, one of several pit bulls who live at 406 E. Morehead escaped an enclosure and savagely attacked the caller’s puppy while she was walking him. Although Texas has a dangerous-dog law, reportedly no action has been taken against the owners of this dog. The puppy’s owner also told us that she suspects the residents of 406 E. Morehead of organizing dogfights and that the pit bull who attacked her dog appeared to be malnourished. PETA has shared this information with the Franklin chief of police and asked him to please check on the welfare of the dogs in question. He has ignored our repeated requests that he do so. Please politely ask the Franklin chief of police to conduct a welfare check on all the dogs at 406 E. Morehead and file charges against their alleged abusers, if appropriate. Deliberate cruelty to our defenceless and beautiful little cousins is surely one of the meanest and most detestable vices of which a human being can be guilty. ~William Ralph Inge Cassie
