Guest guest
Congress is sweeping the plight of farmed animals under the rug, yet again. http://www.avma.org/onlnews/javma/jun07/070615a.asp Urge your US Representative to enact legislation to protect farmed animals. Please remember, impolite emails and calls hurt our cause to help animals, rather than help. So, even though it may be hard to do, we must keep communication calm and polite. Find your US Representative at: www.house.gov As you know, between 96-99% of ALL animal abuse occurs against farmed animals. I am not talking about just their eventual slaughter. These poor animals have no legal protection what so ever. Any body can do anything to them, and they do. Not only do most farmed animals never see sun light, but they are also confined in crates and cages so small, they are unable to even turn around their entire lives. Farmed animals are treated like unfeeling objects, not feeling beings that they are, and we must advocate for that to change. See www.vegnod.com for details. And, let's face it. Who works in these places? I have seen films of farmed animals being beaten with chains and sexually assaulted. They have zero protection, even from degenerates. Abu Ghraib was a day at the beach by comparison. Please politely urge your US Representative to enact protection for farmed animals, the most abused and tortured beings on Earth. Thank you.
