Guest guest
I agree, Karen. The 'dopes' are the ones that DON'T stop to think about how we're treating animals, our environment or other people, for that matter. Of course, there are those that would rather bury their heads in the sand so that they can continue to have their 'fun', regardless of the real cost to our humanity and our souls. Then there are those that like to label and name-call (the leafletting was not a PETA event nor were the participants less than intelligent) as a means of diverting attention from the real issues. Using words like 'terrorize' makes them think they are 'in' on the latest craze to make anyone that protests inhumane acts some sort of criminal. After all, the FBI has stated that some of the organizations that are the greatest danger to our cities are ANIMAL RIGHTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL GROUPS! Imagine that. Standing up for those that can't defend themselves has now become a crime. What's happened to God and Christianity in our country when becoming good stewards of the earth and and its inhabitants and feeling compassion for the downtrodden are seen as evil? It breaks my heart to hear it, see it and read it every day. Steve Harris needs to grow a conscience or keep his ill-advised comments to himself.
