We concluded our anti-circus demonstrations in Fort Worth tonight. We had much success getting our leaflets into the hands of the circus-going public. Today, after reading HSUS literature on the truth about the way the circus abuses animals, TWO families turned around and left, saying they would never go to the circus again. I saw others intently reading our pamphlets and shaking their heads in shock. We definitely made an impression and influenced hearts and minds in favor of animals. Thanks to all who participated in the DFW anti-circus protest. The fact that you cared enough to stand up and show up showed the

public just how much you cared about animal abuse. And, many thought, maybe they should care, too. I posted a summary of results from the Dallas circus (below) as several points were apropos to the FW circus demonstrations, also. Vegetarian Network of Dallas has more animal advocacy events planned for the coming months, so if you have not yet joined our , instructions on how to do so are at the end of the email.Thank you from....Margaret and the Members of Vegetarian Network of Dallas*******************Vegetarian Network of Dallas, organizer of the 2007 DFW anti-circus demonstration, wishes to thank the almost sixty people, who turned out to leaflet. We had successes on so many fronts. Here are just a few...--- We educated the public to the rampant animal abuse perpetrated by Ringling Bros. Circus by distributing more than 10,000 educational leaflets. We hope this stops people from buying tickets next year as they learned that torture is not training. -- Those of us, who have been in AR for awhile, were glad to see that we mobilized many new animal advocates, who had never participated in a demonstration before. Everyone said s/he

had an extremely positive experience!-- We put Ringling Bros. Circus on notice that DFW animal rights will not be silent about animal abuse. We will erode their reputation and eat into profits. -- We made the circus less attractive as an event for the American Airlines Center, who doubled their security because of our demonstration. -- We kept the elephants, horses, zebras, and other animals safe by walking with them tonight from AAC to the train.-- We had fun! And, we made a

difference!!!My most sincere thanks to Mark, Julia, Shannon, Paul, Becca, Patrick, Sarah, Susan, Sherri, Ricky, Bo, Dillon, Josh, Kathleen, Kristine, Brian, Kristy, Mandy, Mindy, Julie, Alisha, Courtney, Rebeca, Jennifer, Nicke, Donna, Kathie, Rachel, Alex, David, Cheryl, Mary, Liz, Alicia, Veronika, Crystal, Nili, Eddonn and all the other animal advocates, who spoke for animals at this year's circus demonstration.
