The pedestrian crosswalk at University, just north of Berry St. gets lots of student traffic between classes. The students are very friendly, even thanking me for giving them a pamphlet. Very high acceptance rate and low throw away rate. On a national level, 57,844 pamphlets from www.veganoutreach.com have been distributed across the country for the Fall 2007 semester alone (yes, the semester only started a few weeks ago!). Casey Constable from Houston, TX is currently in first place. He has single handedly distributed over 7,000 flyers in the past few weeks. We have a long way to go if we want to beat Houston! Prizes are awarded to the top 13 leafleters. This is the easiest type of activism you could ever do, just go to the college nearest you during your lunch hour and you can easily distribute 200 pamphlets in one hour (depending on the size of the campus).
