RE: September, 2007 issue of the Journal of Veterinary Pathology, (Sep;44(5):655- 62.) Dear Dr. O'Toole,I have read of your work and I have absolute disregard for your pseudo-research on bison. In the name of science and ethics, shame on you, sir. Your actions are self-serving and clearly monetarily driven. Your reputation precedes you. Margaret Morin********************** Day of Atonement This evening at sunset (Friday, September 21, 2007) begins Yom Kippur, a day of fasting in which Jews throughout the world meditate and reflect upon past sins. For a Jew, today's thoughts are reserved for personal reflection and introspection. On this day, I dedicate my column to Dr. Donal O'Toole and his team of researchers who sprayed sheep herpes into the noses of American bison in Wyoming, just to see if they would develop and subsequently suffer from the pain and horror of ovine genital herpes. The scientists were elated when their experiment worked. They successfully infected these great American bison and published evidence of their crime in the September, 2007 issue of the Journal of Veterinary Pathology.

(Sep;44(5):655-62.) These so-called people of science must know that their work is deceptive, self-serving, and absurd. I've never heard of a Bison using an inhaler, even when they catch colds and have severe nasal discharges. Those doctors suck research dollars from society in order to continue to perform phony research. These doctors torture and kill animals in the name of science for no good reason. Dairy scientists have been assigned ridiculous tasks and have been awarded enormous grants to demonstrate that cow's milk for humans is nature's perfect food. They live in a warped world of opposites, stretching the credibility of their colleagues in the scientific community by attempting to warp real science. One recent example of their ridiculous work is an effort to convince dieters that milk was designed for humans to lose weight. Such a defiance of innate logic is an

insult to any individual still under the spell of a lifetime of dairy-induced brainwashing. I can never forgive the scientists who published the most horrible of studies in the December 2002 issue of New Scientist. Can they forgive themselves? http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99993135 These Japanese researchers decapitated the heads of 12-day-old rats, and implanted them onto the thighs of adult rodents. Think of the possibilities for humans! If we perform this same technique on Americans, in the event of a nuclear terrorist attack, we'll be able to kiss our own asses goodbye. One scientist, Nobufumi Kawai, at the Jichi Medical School in Tochigi, claims that the grafted heads could become "excellent models" for investigating brain function in human infants.

Today I may atone for my own selfish fantasy which involves Dr. Kawai's upper thigh and the transplanted head of one of Michael Vick's food-deprived pit bulls... Then again, I may not. Perhaps I'll just fantasize about developing a herpes nose spray for a group of Wyoming Nazi doctors. In fact, perhaps I'll just furnish you the contact information for the head Nazi veterinarian, Donal O'Toole, Director of the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory and not feel the least bit guilty in doing so. On this day of atonement, I have nothing to atone for in that regard. I personally lack the words or the desire to try to reason with this man. Perhaps you have a gentler or more convincing manner than I. Dr. O'Toole's primary research subjects and topics are companion animals and infectious diseases. Imagine the possibilities. What horrors occur behind the closed doors of this

sub-human creature's lab? O'Toole's email: dot@ uwyo.edu (you must connect the email characters) Dr. O'Toole's phone number: (307) 742-6638 Please extend a bit more courtesy to Dr. O'Toole than he extended to the bison. As a matter of fact, please be more compassionate than Dr. O'Toole has been to cats, dogs, calves, sheep, and other non-human animals. I have read much of his original research, and I am disgusted and saddened at the pain he has caused sentient beings. Perhaps one day he will wake up after an Hieronymus Bosch-like nightmare, asking himself, "What have I done?"
