We created this outreach campaign last year as a way to encourage all Texans to "dine out" and support their local veggie restaurants in honor of both World Vegetarian Day (October 1) & World Farm Animals Day (October 2 - Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday). This year, we have 13 Texas organizations

supporting this campaign! This is a great opportunity for everyone to support their local vegetarian/vegan restaurants. For a list of veggie restaurants throughout Texas, visit the online Happy Cow Guide. *While not every city in Texas may have a vegetarian restaurant, you can still participate by

ordering a veggie meal at your local restaurant or by hosting a meal in your area.
