PETA Sreening/Activist Networking!!! Austin, October 12 & 13

Austin is a little bit of a commute - but the PETA

meetings are always energizing. If you have never

been to one (and even if you have), please consider

attending! Perhaps we can arrange some carpools from

the Dallas area.

On Friday, October 12, Bruce Friedrich and Nicole

Matthews will be screening the award-winning

documentary Earthlings,

[http://www.isawearthlings.com/] which is narrated by

Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix. Powerful,

informative, and thought-provoking, Earthlings is the

most comprehensive documentary ever produced about the

effects of human economic interests on animals and

nature. Please bring your friends and family members

to watch this life-changing film, which will be

followed by a brief discussion.

On Saturday, October 13, we will be hosting a

discussion about activism. We’d like to invite all

area groups and activists to join us for this valuable

networking opportunity. We hope to share information

on local activism and rally support for any projects

you currently have in the works.
