Guest guest
May I make a suggestion? It was my understanding that the purpose of this list is to provide quick vegetarian recipes. As I have just scrolled through 25 email messages and found only three recipes, I'm finding myself frustrated. Could a separate list be started to specifically address animal rights activism? I wouldn't mind if the URL for that list was included as a header for a brief period so that people who were interested in those issues could easily access the information. It's not that I object to the content of these messages. What I'm having trouble with is that I'm not sure that this is the best place for them to be posted. I'm not trying to limit anyone's free speech, I just am disappointed that this list is no longer about quick veg. cooking, something that I really need help with, but has become essentially a political forum. If the list is going to continue in this vein, I think I will need to . I have two of my " quick and dirty " veg recipes. First, toss one can of sauerkraut in a pan. Add cut up veg dogs. My favorites are the ones by Yves veggie cuisine because they are kind of spicy. Toss in just a smidgen of brown sugar (this mellows the sauerkraut a little and makes it really good). Heat thoroughly and serve. And when I'm totally craving fast food.... Deep fry three grain tempeh in olive oil until brown and crispy. Sprinkle with Mrs. Dash garlic seasoning salt and serve with organic ketchup....Not low fat, but really yummy! Magdalena
