Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76107 (On Lancaster, just West of University) (map)Directions: Take I-30 to Fort Worth, Exit University. Go North on University. Turn left on Lancaster and look for tall tower. Parking: Free Parking on the Street around the circus. Contact: Margaret Morin at dogs_good or 972-578-0370 or 972-571-9603 (cell # for day of circus use only, please) Why: Elephants, bears, big cats, and other animals typically used by circuses live in completely artificial conditions. In their natural habitats, these animals graze, hunt, seek out mates, and raise families. These behaviors are completely repressed in captivity, and the inability to heed these strong instincts is

psychologically harmful. Physical constraints are equally detrimental. Animals are forced into trailers and hauled from one strange location to the next, sometimes 50 weeks out of the year. Elephants' legs are shackled continuously—without enough slack in the chain to take even one step forward or back—while not performing. Please join activists in urging residents to boycott this cruelty! Note: Please post on your myspace page and cross-post to other groups, your friends and family.
