Please take action for these sadly abused primates. The below link contains video. If the link contained in PETA Action Alert does not work, go to:http://getactive.peta.org/campaign/ONPRC_USDA_investigationMargaret Ask the USDA to Investigate Treatment of Monkeys at ONPRC Send to a Friend | Donate Now | Join Our Activist Network Dear Margaret, During a recent undercover investigation at the Oregon National Primate Research Center (ONPRC), a PETA investigator observed sick monkeys who received inadequate veterinary care and pain relief; employees who chased terrified monkeys around their enclosures, capturing them and pinning their arms behind their backs to force them into transport boxes; and staff who sprayed water from high-pressure hoses into cages

with monkeys still in them, leaving the animals wet and frightened. Monkeys were also seen picking food out of the waste trays beneath their cages as well as frantically pacing back and forth inside small, barren steel cages—driven insane by life inside these prisons. Please join us in urging the U.S. Department of Agriculture to launch an immediate investigation into ONPRC for possible violations of animal protection laws. Please click here to find out more about the cruel, wasteful experiments at ONPRC and what you can do to help the animals imprisoned there. Sincerely, Justin Goodman, Research AssociatePeople for the Ethical Treatment of AnimalsCampaigns
