So, it's Friday or Saturday evening and you've had a long work week. Maybe you just want to kick back, relax and have some fun. That's perfectly understandable. Everyone wants these things. But, the animals held captive by the circus never get to relax. Circus animals live in fear every single moment of their pitiful day. They are under constant pressure from their tormentors, who work in shifts. They never gain solace by cuddling with a friend and never get to stretch out full length while lying down. They are never able to run or exercise their aching muscles and stiff backs. Not ever. Circus animals are held captive in small cages or chained all day, every day, except when they are being brutally forced to perform uncomfortable and confusing tricks. When they are sick, they frequently get no veterinarian care. When they travel, which is most of the time, they sometimes are not

fed for days and it not unusual for them to have no water or shelter from the elements. This is how they will live every day of their miserable existence until they die, unless we do something about it. Please join us to speak for these wretched and tortured voiceless animals. This weekend is our last chance to leaflet the Shrine Circus.‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing’************************Vegetarian Network of Dallas' Educational Demonstration & Leafleting of the Shrine CircusWHAT: Peaceful Educational Outreach at the Shrine Circus WHEN: Remaining events: Friday, November 16, 6 PM, (doors open 6 PM, circus starts 7PM) Saturday, November 17, 5:30 PM (doors open 6 PM, circus starts 7PM). Right on! The animals never get a day off their immense suffering; why can't we all give an hour or two speaking up for them and educating the public? Let's make it a HUGE display of support for the animals (not to mention exposing the Shriner's for their deceipt of the public - funds go to their frat, not the burn center). They were going crazy last w/e, nothing they could do about our signs! LOLOLOL! Please come to the protests tomorrow night (Friday night) and Sat.; times and info below.Margaret Morin <dogs_good wrote: So, it's Friday or Saturday evening and you've had a long work week.
