Tune in at 10:00 am on 90.1 FM KPFT or live on the web at www.kpft.org Listen 10 December 2007 at 10am on 90.1 FM in Houston The zoonotic origins of human disease: How humans suffer as a result of centuries of animal abuse WIth introductory cohost Alma Williams, I will show how nearly every human disease is a

result of the past abuse of animals and how continued animal abuse puts the comfort and survival of the human race at risk. Integrating expert testimony from former animal researcher Matt Miller and HIV researchers working on using old-world monkey genes to potentially cure HIV in humans, the program will tell the story of how human enslavement of animals has resulted directly in human suffering throughout history. The enslavement of cows, chickens, pigs, goats, and sheep in the past gave humanity the gift of influenza, diptheria, smallpox, cowpox, measles gonnohrea, chlamydia and TB. More recent animal abuse has given us HIV, E Coli outbreaks, foot and mouth disease, antibiotic resistant staph, and mad cow disease variants. If we do not change our ways and learn kindness for animals, perhaps the future holds a die-off of humans from a diseae like SARS, Ebola, or some as-yet-uknown pathogen humans have yet to put into our bodies as we force our cruel dominion on all of the creatures of this earth. Tune in and begin to educate yourself on this massive issue that affects us all, but is almost completely ignored by the mainstream because of the unspoken, cruel, and completely wrong assumption that eating the bodies of animals should be a normal part of our lives on this planet. Listen live on Houston's KPFT 90.1FM ( 89.5FM Galveston) or listen later by clicking on Go Vegan Texas in the KPFT Archives : http://archive.kpft.org .
