Guest guest
Vegetarian Network of Dallas will again conduct an educational leafleting of Ringling Bros. Circus in the Summer, 2008. Let's get a jump on our efforts by contacting Ringling sponsor, AAA. Politely urge AAA to drop their support of this abuser, who tortures animals into performing. Thank you. Many were disgusted to see Ringling promotions in their regional newsletter. Please ask AAA to establish a policy against promoting Ringling or any other circus that uses animals. Last year, PETA videotaped that Ringling handlers aggressively used a bullhook on elephants, a Ringling trainer inflicted a bloody wound behind an elephant's ear, and lame elephants were forced to travel and perform. When you contact AAA, please let the organization know if you are a member! Remind AAA that after learning of the abuse inherent in animal circuses, major corporations like General Mills, Burger King, Liz Claiborne, MasterCard, Visa, and Sears Roebuck & Co. ended their sponsorships of circuses like Ringling and UniverSoul. Please speak up for animals suffering in Ringling's circus. Thank you for everything you do animals!
