Guest guest
I just thought this was worth noting because of their focus on working against " activists " . There's a video clip. It's almost funny how the " tough " talk is about such values or " rationality " (as he says) on being victorious on not being accountable for possible animal abuse and free to spread poison on the very food the cattle feed. We probably hear the same thing in the big cattle state of TX. Bushue: Keep up fight against activists OFB president tallies legislative successes, including some bills that were blocked " During his speech to the annual meeting of delegates held in Pendleton, Ore., Bushue listed some of the bills that Farm Bureau, often with other agriculture groups, managed to stop. They included: - Having armed and deputized Oregon Humane Society inspectors with police powers to investigate alleged animal abuse, even though they had no training or oversight from any police agency. - Several anti-pesticide bills, including Senate Bill 20, which would have prohibited applications on thousands of acres on Oregon's best farmland.
