Guest guest
I am not a big advocate of petitions but some are so I am posting. Please do something to advocate for the whales. Margaret Care2 r since Dec 24, 2007 | | Take Action Hi Margaret, Humpback whales in the Southern Ocean are safe from Japan's annual hunt, at least for this year. But over the next three months, Japan plans to kill 935 minke whales and 50 endangered fin whales! Japan must follow through on its commitment to not target humpback whales, and stop the senseless killing of other whale species! Sign the petition today >> "This is happy news for 50 humpback whales but Japan's whaling continues to expand," said Patrick Ramage, IFAW Global Whale Program Manager. Japan has killed more than 10,000 whales for "scientific research purposes" since 1986. However, little science has been produced, while the whale meat is sold in supermarkets and restaurants. Take action >> Thank you for taking action to protect these beautiful and intelligent creatures from the Japanese whaling fleet. Sincerely, Robyn E. Care2 PetitionSite Team From this: To this?
