Guest guest
Cross posted with permission and with thanks to Metroplex Animal Coalition. Margaret*************** Companions to None, Bill Buchanan’s unblinking look at the pet overpopulation crisis in Mexico, will be shown on KERA Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 10 p.m. This film offers an insider’s perspective of the harsh conditions endured by companion animals in Mexico, and of some of the programs underway to improve their lot. The Jan. 22 KERA presentation is a rare opportunity for Metroplex-area animal rescue and animal welfare folks who may have missed last year’s local screenings, and for a broader audience as well. Companions to None received the Humanitarian Award at the Lone Star International Film Festival in Fort Worth last fall.
