Volunteers Needed for Special MAC Spay/Neuter Program Distribution

Cross Posted from the Metroplex Animal Coalition. MAC Member Groups & E-groups rs: If you were at our meeting on Sunday you heard about a great program MAC will be conducting in the 75212 zip code. This area is one of the worst in Dallas for pet overpopulatioin, and is in the top three areas for animal calls to 311. We have a special sponsor who wants to encourage residents of this zip code to spay and neuter their pets, so he is making it possible for us to give away a free, $25 Walmart gift card when people take

advantage of the MAC free surgery for their pets. And this is an effort in which you can participate! We need volunteers to go door-to-door as part of a group who will be working the area to distribute this offer to area residents. The distribution is planned for two weekends: Jan. 26, 27 and Feb. 2,3. This is a grass roots program that is sure to save animal lives if we can just make people aware of the offer.
