We will also be protesting at 1:00 on Sat. and Sun. Less drinking, warmer, and daylight! We have police security provided, so no reason to fear these monsters. Rodeo promoters say that the animals are wild and rough, but without the use of spurs, tail-twisting, being shocked in the face, prodded with sharp sticks, caustic ointments and bucking straps cinched around their abdomens and groins, these frightened and often docile animals wouldn't even buck. Calf roping often breaks the necks of 3 month old calves or kills

them. Many animals suffer broken bones or death from being brutalized and running away in terror into walls or other animals. The fact that most of these animals will eventually wind up in slaughterhouses, including the horses, does not justify worsening their agony along the way. It's simply legalized animal abuse! When: Friday the 18th at 6:30 p.m. Saturday the 19th at 1:00 p.m. Sunday the 20th at 1:00 p.m. Where: Will Rogers Coliseum; 3401 Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth We'll meet on the east side of the front of the building by the parking lot at 6:30 on Friday night and 1:00 on Sat. and Sun. If you get there later, just look for people with signs; some will hold signs and some will be leafleting; we'll get you fixed up. If you have a camcorder BRING IT! Your help is badly needed to let Fort Worth residents know that there is no excuse for rodeo abuse by attending this important demonstration. All materials will be provided. Please contact Charlotte at chardunk or Shannon at Fortheanimals for any questions.
