Guest guest
There is never a Valentine's Day for fur animals... There is not even basic human compassion for them in Chinese fur farms... Join us and rally for them! ANTI-FUR DEMO WHERE: Chinese Embassy2300 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington DC 20008(Dupont Circle & Woodley Park Red line Metro) WHEN: Wednesday, February 13, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. In the third millennium when people are striving to value all forms of life, cavemen-type practices should be left where they belong: THE STONE AGE. Why do we focus on China? Because China supplies 85% of all furs on the planet, and it has no animal protection laws whatsoever, and animals raised in that country suffer unspeakable, gut-renching cruelty. Let us tell China and the fur industry that gassing, anally electrocuting or skinning animals alive for coats, rugs and trinkets is NOT ACCEPTABLE. This will be the fourth successful anti-fur demo held by the Anti-Fur Society at the Chinese Embassy, and we hope to count on your presence to speak out against the bloody fur trade on behalf of the defenseless. Please let us know if you are able to join us: antifursociety ANTI-FUR SOCIETY NEW COALITION AGAINST CRUEL SLAUGHTER OF HORSES U.S. horses were saved from slaughter in this country since the closure of the last 2 slaughterhouses, but they are now being butchered in Mexico. Since a ban to transport live horses from the U.S. to Canada, and then to Mexico for the purpose of slaughter is still pending, our horses are moving rapidly over the borders. It is imperative for U.S. citizens to lobby for enactment of the AHSPA, and support efforts in border states to stop transport of slaughter-bound equines. It is equally important that citizens from other countries join us to fight for the horses. The goal is to form international groups to stop horse slaughter. If you are interested in joining this coalition, please let us know: antifursocietyCheck our new group online to familiarize yourself with this profoundly disturbing issue: STOP HORSE CRUELTY!
