Guest guest
I'm not crazy about the Sierra Club as it doesn't support animals, but I sent a message encouraging action to help clear the air at Big Bend and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks, as this will help AR. You can do the same by following this link: Preserve Big Bend and the Guadalupe Mountains! Dear friend, Please take action on this important issue by clicking on the link below. Problem: Big Bend and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks suffer from the transport of air pollutants from Texas industries and power plants and other sources. Solution: The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality should adopt a “regional haze” clean-up plan to meet the national goal for natural visibility in our national parks. Action Needed: Send a fax to TCEQ at 512-239-5687 urging the agency to scrap its inadequate plan to address “regional haze” problems in national parks and to prepare a plan with new air pollution control strategies that will clear the air in those parks. Deadline for responding: Please take action by [deadline]. Materials created and maintained by the Lone Star Chapter of the Sierra Club.
