Congressman Michael Burgess - R - Texas (unfortunately, my rep) accused HSUS of "sitting on" the tape of the Westland/Hallmark slaughterhouse. With FIVE USDA inspectors there AT ALL TIMES he has no room to point fingers. He has repeatedly boasted about his "honorary membership" with the HSUS, yet his animal voting record is a dismal 34% on the Humane Scorecard. He rarely even votes on an animal issue. He voted on TWO of all the issues this year. Politely let him know what you think even if you're not in Texas.
