As a result of the resignation of New York Governor Elliott Spitzer, David Paterson will be sworn in as New York State's new Governor on Monday, March 17, 2008. Please e-mail the office of Lt. Governor, David Paterson and politely request that neither he nor his wife wear fur to his inauguration and to other public functions. The Lt. Gov. seems to

be a really nice guy. He is known to have a very gentle spirit and a good sense of humor. This is a very tough time for the Governor's Office and everyone surrounding him.
