Hi Everyone,

 

I sent an email to Canada's Minister of International Trade and would like to urge all of you to do the same. This probably goes without saying, but, I make my messages personal and do not us the standard one provided. I am including my letter to Prime Minister Harper, whom I also wrote to. His address is:

Feel free to use any portion of my email. He needs to hear from us. And now is the time to start checking products from Canada. Unfortunately, Cascadian Farms is a Canadian company.

 

Dear Prime Minister Harper:

 

This is a very distressing time of year for millions of us who are upset and appalled that one quarter of a million baby seals are slaughtered for the pelts. We have appealed to Canada, begged your country to stop, but, all in vain. Although I love Canada and would visit frequently, as I did in my youth, my husband and I will continue to boycott traveling to your beautiful country until this inhumane and cruel hunting stops. We also make a point not to buy anything manufactured in Canada.

 

We are in Detroit waiting for Canada to permanently stop the horrific hunting of baby seals. When you do....we will quickly, and frequently, cross over to Windsor (and other Canadian cities) to eat, drink, and shop. Until then....our money will be spent on countries that don't violate human and animal rights.
