Guest guest
We had a wonderful turnout for the 2008 Dallas Meatout Festival at the MLK Center on March 29, 2008. I didn't get a count, but probably at least 200 people attended.Special thanks the Meatout speakers and to the Vegetarian Network of Dallas Volunteers. Vegetarian Network of Dallas volunteers had great fun and were important advocates for animals to an interested crowd. Our speakers were eloquent and persuasive. The food was delicious. We taught empathy to children by painting animal faces on them. A good time was had by all! Here are some photos of the 2008 Dallas Meatout Festival. I hope to receive more photos soon, so keep an eye out. http://ph./photosI hope that more people volunteer to stand up for the voiceless and powerless animals at Vegetarian Network of Dallas' next advocacy event. The animals have no one but us. If not you, then who?If not now, then when? Thanks very much.MargaretFounder, Vegetarian Network of Dallas You rock.
