Guest guest
URGENT ACTION NEEDED!!!!!ELEPHANT JENNY MUST NOT BE KEPT AN ISOLATED PRISONER, FORCED TO GRIEVE ALONE!We must speak out for JENNY, the lonely elephant left all by herself at the Dallas Zoo following the death of her only friend and companion! Please take thirty minutes or an hour out of your day to urge the Dallas Zoo to keep Jenny's best interests in mind by sending her to a sanctuary NOW. What: Educational Demonstration at the Dallas ZooWhen: Friday, May 16, 12 Noon -1 P.M.Where: Dallas Zoo, 650 South R.L. Thornton Fwy, DallasNote: Posters & leaflets will be provided by Vegetarian Network of DallasBackground: Following the death of KeKe, a wild-caught elephant held prisoner for life at the Dallas Zoo, the D/FW Animal Rights Community must push for the zoo's sole remaining elephant, Jenny, to be immediately sent to a sanctuary. In a sanctuary, Jenny will be able to grieve the loss of her friend properly with the support of others of her sensitive species and have the chance to interact and build relationships with other rescued elephants. Animals captured in the wild for zoos are torn away from their mothers and forced into a life that deprives them of all their basic needs, like proper social interaction and adequate exercise-often leading to a premature death. We are looking for an activists to wear an elephant costume. If you are able to help with this or have any questions, please contact Vegetarian Network of Dallas educational demonstration coordinator Margaret Morin at 972-578-0370 or by email at dogs_good. CROSS POST WIDELY.Thank you for everything that you do for animals.
