Thanks to Carney Anne C., Vegetarian Network of Dallas member, for her below email. MM I don't know if any of you had the chance to catch Bryant Gumbel's vignette about horse slaughter of thoroughbreds when they are no longer "profitable" on the 05/12/08 episode (Episode #134) of "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel", but it was eyeopening.
