THLN is the only lobbyist in the state of Texas actively seeking humane legislation. Without laws, nothing changes for the countless animals abused, neglected and worse in Texas.

 

THLN has been advocating for the voiceless since 1973 and is widely respected by both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate.

Dear THLN Friends,

We are delighted to announce the launch of the new THLN website. We hope you will find it easy to use, informative and helpful.

To everyone who has responded to the 'Help Henry Reach the Summit' $50,000 fundraising challenge, we extend a huge thank you for your support.

Today we ask that you do something that cost no money at all and will take less than five minutes of your time. We ask that you go to www.thln.org, click on 'Share this Site' in the upper right-hand corner of the home page, and forward a message to five people you know who live in Texas and care about animals, but are not THLN members.

Your message could be something like 'Dear _______, I know you love animals, so I wanted to make you aware of THLN, a nonprofit organization that helps fight animal abuse statewide. I hope you'll consider signing up for THLN action alerts to learn how you can help. Through THLN, there are many ways to help animals without even having to leave your house.'

We have serious challenges ahead of us next year at the Texas Legislature. To win these battles, we must dramatically increase our membership statewide so that every legislator will be contacted by animal friendly voters who live in his or her own legislative district.

Our strength is in our numbers. The more members we have, the more victories we can win for the animals!
