Guest guest
Tomorrow, June 18 there will be a Dallas City Council briefing on the proposed animal ordinances at 1 p.m. per the latest schedule (please get there by 12:45). The briefing will take place at Dallas City Hall. The briefing is an opportunity for the Council to ask questions of the staff, the City Attorney, and their colleagues who are championing the ordinances. There will be no public comment during the briefing itself, but we need people to attend anyway to show our support. It is crucial that we have at least as many people in attendance as the opposition - they are trying to fill the meeting room and WE MUST SHOW OUR SUPPORT FOR THE ORDINANCES. If you can attend and if you want updates on any change of time or meeting room, please email dallasanimaladvocates with "I will attend on 6/18 in the subject line". And, please do not forward this to anyone unless you personally know of their support of the ordinances. Thanks - we need to see you there.
