JJP to meet with Ron Natinsky -- needs your help

I’ve managed to get a meeting with District 12 city

councilman Ron Natinsky to discuss the pending animal ordinance. He is

contemplating an amendment that would effectively gut the spay-neuter segment

of this ordinance, and we must try to convince him not to do that. He will

listen to constituents.

 

The meeting is at 1:00 PM tomorrow, June

19, in his City Hall office. Sorry for the short notice, but that’s all

he had available.

 

I have sent Mr. Natinsky a letter, and I have a detailed

supportive letter from my veterinarian. It would be more impressive if some

other constituents from District 12 could go with me, so he doesn’t think

I’m some kind of solitary voice. So here’s what I need:

 

1. Anyone who lives in District 12 and can go with me, please

contact me as indicated below.

 

2. Anyone who lives in District 12 but can’t go

tomorrow, please send me an e-mail stating your support for the ordinance

proposed by the City of Dallas Animal Shelter Commission. I can give these e-mails to

Mr. Natinsky as proof of support in the district.

 

3. If you know anyone else who lives in District 12 and

will go with me, give my contact information.

 

4. If you can’t get back to me but want to go, meet

me in the parking lot of the CVS store on the southeast corner of Hillcrest Rd. and Campbell Rd. by 12 noon tomorrow. We can all go in my

car, but I’m leaving from there at 12 noon to be sure we get there in

time.

 

5. If you can go but must travel separately, his office is

Room 5FN on the fifth floor of City Hall at 15 Marilla St. You can park in the underground garage at Young

and Field streets, then take the green elevator to the 5th floor.

Tell the security guard you have a 1:00 appt. with Mr. Natinsky.

Guys, we are fortunate to get face time with a key council

member the week before the vote on this ordinance. We have to make the most of

it. I really don’t want to be the Lone Ranger here. Thanks.
