We must continue to advocate for our Dallas Jenny by calling the Mayor. The Mayor's office is now taking a poll, so if you called before, call again as now your call is being tallied. I will post more on contacting the mayor last this weekend. AZA accreditation means nothing and will not protect Elephant Jenny from harm in Mexico, nor ensure her well being. The Coalition for Captive

Elephant Well-Being is comprised of zoo professionals, animal behavior experts,

field, lab & academic scientist and legal specialists. Page 7 of their 2005

Report entitled “Optimal Conditions for Captive Elephants” states, “current AZA

elephant management standards are minimal; and in the authors’ opinion, are
