I was in Veggie Garden yesterday and Jemma, the owner said that business was so bad, they were considering closing. This is a great shame. Vegetarians need to keep each such business open. Personally, I will not dine in a restaurant that serve flesh. I know everyone needs to make her or his own choice in such matters, but I elect to patronize compassionate businesses. Please make a point to go to Veggie Garden this week and next. And, take your friends with you, in keeping with Vegetarian Network of Dallas' "Take a Carnivore to Lunch" program. And, make Veggie Garden (or another vegetarian) restaurant your families' consistent choice in the future. Those businesses that exploit animals have more than enough customers.
