Guest guest
One of the very best and most affordable vegetarian restaurants in Dallas is in danger of closing its doors due to lack of business. Actually, it is one of the only two or three vegan restaurants in Dallas. That restaurant is Veggie Garden. www.theveggiegarden.comVeggie Garden 510 W Arapaho RdRichardson, TX 75080(972) 479-0888Get directions 5 reviews and more »Open Mon-Tue,Thu-Sun 11am-9pm I was in Veggie Garden yesterday and Jemma, the owner said that business was so bad, they were considering closing. This is a great shame. Vegetarians need to keep each such business open. Personally, I will not dine in a restaurant that serve flesh. I know everyone needs to make her or his own choice in such matters, but I elect to patronize compassionate businesses. Please make a point to go to Veggie Garden this week and next. And, take your friends with you, in keeping with Vegetarian Network of Dallas' "Take a Carnivore to Lunch" program. And, make Veggie Garden (or another vegetarian) restaurant your families' consistent choice in the future. Those businesses that exploit animals have more than enough customers. Vegetarian Network of Dallas dines at Veggie Garden on the 4th Sunday of every month, so please come to our lunch and support Veggie Garden. I make it a point not to advertise businesses, even vegan ones, but this is an exception of some importance.Thank you.
