ACT ALERT!!! Circus protest this Saturday evening, August 2nd!!!

It is hot as h--- in Dallas - so it is time for the circus!!!

Please join us for a peaceful protest this Saturday, before the evening performance. We will be on the north and east sides of the building. Just look for the signs. Here are the details:

What: Peaceful circus protest

When: Saturday, August 2, 6:15 - 7:30 p.m.

Where: American Airlines Center

Please also mark the evening of Sunday the 10th on your calendars - when we plan to follow the elephants back to the railroad cars. VegNod has planned some circus leafletting, as well - so, keep your dance cards empty!

We have had some questions regarding our directions to free parking. There are several streets in the area that offer 2-hour parking. However, we like to park on North Akard between Wichita and Ashland. There are no meters, the street is close to the American Airlines Center, and seems relatively safe. To get there, take the Victory Street exit off of I-35. Travel down Victory past the American Airlines Center. Turn left onto Wichita, and right onto Houston - and then take your first left onto Ashland (there are parking lots on both sides - so it looks like you are pulling into a parking lot.) From Ashland, take a left onto North Akard (there will be a one-way sign pointing right - but, between Wichita and Ashland, North Akard is a two-way street).If you get lost - or if you have any questions about the demo, call Susan at 214-577-6727.
