Attend 8/6 City Council Meetting to Help Save Jenny!

ATTEND AUGUST 6TH CITY COUNCIL BRIEFING TO HELP SAVE JENNYYour presence is needed at the Dallas City Council's first meeting after summer recess. We must show our overwhelming support for retiring Jenny to the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. We want to fill the room with Jenny supporters.The Dallas Zoo intends to ship Jenny to a drive-through tourist attraction in Mexico instead of to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. Jenny's medical records indicate she is terrified of motorized vehicles. Jenny has a history of crippling depression and self-mutilation triggered by loud noises and vehicles, things she would be frequently exposed to at Africam Safari in Mexico. As such, it is blatantly cruel to send Jenny to a facility where cars/trucks will be driving close to her constantly. What: Dallas City Council
