Guest guest
JENNY ADVOCATES Attend Wednesday morning Dallas City Council meetings, please Advocate for Jenny's retirement to The Elephant Sanctuary. Come for any amount of time that you can. CCFJ has fine-tuned our attendance to only 1 & 1/2 hours on Wednesday morning. Your presence at City Council is essential to helping Jenny! The fire and determination in Jenny supporter's eyes shows City Council the depth of our resolution to retire Jenny to TES. If Jenny does not have supporters in the audience, the City Council will think we gave up and forgot about Jenny. Then, they will forget about her, too. We will not stop until Jenny sets foot in TES. Why: We must show community support for retiring Jenny to TES. Our weekly attendence at City Council makes a big difference. We must show them we are resolute and will not give up. REMEMBER: Jenny is suffering NOW. A habitat that won't be built for at least two or three years does not help make her life any better today. The natural lifespan of an elephant is 70 or 80 years of age, but elephants in AZA zoos live an average of 33-34 years. Jenny is 32. Help retire Jenny to TES, where she has her best chance at living a long and happy life. For this Wednesday ...
