Jenny was observed swaying from side to side for two solid hours this morning, a behavior which she repeated throughout the day. Such swaying is a sign of great distress in elephants. Jenny is languishing her one and only life away at the Dallas Zoo because of politics. The Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the Dallas Zoo's industry trade association seeks to establish a trade monopoly in elephants. As such, the AZA does not want Jenny to go to the peace and healing of a sanctuary because a sanctuary is not a member of their zoo trade group. That's the only reason Jenny isn't allowed to have a better life. Have you urged the Mayor, City Council, City Manager and Parks and

Recreation Director to retire Jenny to The Elephant Sanctuary yet today? Jenny has no one but you to speak for her.
