Even though she has an assured place at The Elephant Sanctuary, a heaven on earth for elephants, the Dallas Zoo refuses to allow Jenny to relocate. Worst Zoos For Elephants - Call For Nominees

Is there a zoo in your

hometown with particularly bad conditions for elephants? Are the

elephants swaying and rocking non-stop? Have you visited a zoo

where the sad condition of the elephants has stayed with you

long after your visit was over?

Then we invite you to submit your zoo nominees for IDA's

annual list of the Top Ten Worst Zoos for Elephants.

For the fifth year, IDA will unveil this list of shame, which

exposes the guiltiest zoos and most egregious conditions for

elephants. Lethal joint and foot disorders, birth complications,

abnormal repetitive behaviors and premature deaths have all been

chronicled in IDA's previous lists, demonstrating the need for

mammoth changes to improve the lives of elephants held in

zoos.

Help us again attract widespread media attention to the

suffering of elephants in zoos due to inadequate and inhumane

conditions by nominating a zoo for this year's Top Ten Worst

Zoos for Elephants list.
