Let's Start the New Year on the Right Note

 

Sound the TRUMPET for Jenny!

 

 

Join Concerned Citizens for Jenny at The Dallas Zoo when we present a GIANT Birthday card commemorating Jenny's 32 years (22 of them confined to a tiny pen at the Dallas Zoo). Jenny’s 40 x 30 inch card is inscribed "Jenny's Birthday Wish, A Long and Happy Life at The Elephant Sanctuary."

When: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Thursday, January 1, 2009Where: The Dallas Zoo (Entrance by the Giraffe Statue) 650 South R.L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas , Texas 75203

 

 

What: CCFJ will hold a brief press conference on the front lawn by the giraffe statue at 11 AM. After that, we'll adjourn to the zoo entrance near the ticket booth and offer children the opportunity to add their name to the hundreds of signatures, sentiments and drawings we have already gathered on Jenny's card!

 

The first fifty children will receive a free copy of “An Elephant’s Life,” a colorful educational comic book. We will also be distributing informational leaflets, which CCFJ will provide.

Driving Directions:From 1-35 E, Exit Marsalis Avenue Go 1/8 mile on the North service road.Turn right at the giant giraffe statue marking the entrance to the Dallas Zoo’s Parking Lot.It's easy to take DART to the Zoo!
