Civil Rights Activist Challenge the Dallas City Zoo over the waste of tax payers money on Jenny The Elephant.

 

Why is the City of Dallas wasting 30 to 40 million tax dollars on an exhibit that does not meet the needs of elephants and will not give Jenny a better life? The only minimimally expanded Zoo exhibit is not even scheduled for completion until 2011 and Jenny is suffering now. Jenny has been diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder by Dr. Gay Bradshaw, the foremost authority on the disease.

 

Jenny has been offered free refuge at The Elephant Sanctuary and yet the city refuses to let her go spending a ½ million dollars of tax payers money. Money that could be allocated to provide shelter for single women with children.
