The Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) is working to kill the Puppy Mill bill - HB 3180!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's right - as unbelievable as it may seem, veterinarians are working to kill our bill that would improve the health and welfare of dogs and cats in puppy mills! They're also objecting to the requirement that a veterinarian must perform a health exam on a puppy or kitten before it's sold!! If you're as upset about this irresponsible position as we are - call your veterinarian today and ask him/her to call the four Senate Criminal Justice Committee members listed below and tell them they do not agree with the TVMA's callous position and they support the Puppy Mill bill. Enough is enough! We need to know if the veterinary profession sworn to provide for the health and well being of animals supports protection for puppy mill animals or supports cruelty!

 

Also, due to the TVMA's opposition we're asking you to also call these committee members and urge their support of HB 3180. Please do this today before it's too late!
