Guest guest
The fact that the City of Garland (and a few other Texas shelters) still gas animals in municipal animal shelters is the shame of Texas. It only continues because not enough people demand the end of this horrific practice. If enough caring citizens politely, but emphatically objected to the cruel practice of gassing (in which animals die an agonizing death) and urged a change, we could stop this cruel practice. I encourage everyone, whether you live in Garland or not, to contact the City of Garland city manager, mayor and city council and urge elimination of gassing of animals in the custody of Garland Animal Services. If you do not live in Garland, and they ask for your address, you might want to courteously mention that although you do not live in Garland, you are so upset by gassing that you don't feel you will be able, in good conscience, to patronize Garland businesses until it is stopped. Cross Post, Please. Thanks very much. Margaret Morin www.SaveJennyNow.com
