Emergent! Lost & Sick Sheltie Still Missing in Plano/Allen Area - MEDICAL EMERGENCY! Cross Post Please

URGENT: Comet was not found last night. Time is running out for this poor, very sick Sheltie. The search party last night was planned last minute, so no one showed up. This dog is extremely ill with pancreatisis and being treated by the emergency clinic, who lost him.

Please go to the area around Hedgcoxe Elementary (see below directions) and search in in at least a five mile radii. He may be in the woods. Vickie Hern asked me to ask people to join her search party for Comet tonight (Monday 8/31/09) at 7:30 PM. Comet was last spotted at Hedgecox Elementary near Hoblitzell Park in Plano and that is where we will meet.

 

 

Directions: From Plano, Drive North on Central Expressway. Turn Left on Legacy and Right on Red River, which will run into Prescott Street. Hedgecox Elementary is on Prescott. The Herns will park on the street across the bridge by the elementary and they drive light blue Hundai. If you can help, please call Vickie Hern at 214 417 5343 (cell). Comet is a 4 yr. old Sheltie male that has been neutered. He was under treatment for pancreatitis at the Collin County Animal Clinic when a vet tech let him get away and run across Custer into a heavily brushy area. He could be in the Allen/Plano area. He has an iv port in one of his legs.
