With the same five senses, they feel and experience everything physically and emotionally that humans do. If they must be euthanized, they deserve a peaceful, humane, and non-violent death. They also deserve a life free of suffering, which most do not get. Please get with the times and euthanize the animals humanely (you know, like convicted death-row convicts are put to death!). Too many animals are innocent victims of a society of irresponsible and uncaring people. They deserve the same rights and protection that humans receive.
